Spurred by the covid-19 situation, Jumia has partnered with Airtel and Diamond Trust Bank to encourage pre-payment on goods being delivered via Jumia, and cut down on cash payments made on delivery.

Logistics services opened up to 3rd parties

Jumia has opened up the service to 3rd parties across the 11 countries where it has established delivery operations. In 2019, Jumia delivered 20 million+ packages and has 20 warehouses across Africa.
