Tech rental platform Grover raises €60 million in Series B round



Founded in 2015, Berlin based Grover has been at the forefront of the tech rental trend.

Grover provides both consumers and SMBs access to premium brands and products across categories such as wearables, audio, smart home and gaming at affordable prices.


Grover has recently raised €60 million in funding (€45 million from equity investors & €15 million from venture debt financing). Grover had previously raised €250 million in a funding round in January 2020.


In 2019, Grover launched an e-scooter leasing service at MediaMarkt & MediaSaturn stores across Germany. Customers can hire an ICONBIT or TECHNOSTAR e-scooters for a minimum of 1 month up to 12 months. Grover also partners with retailers Comspot, Conrad and Gravis (online and in-store).


At the end of 2020, Samsung announced a partnership with Grover allowing consumers to rent the S20 smartphone range. The Grover service is also available through the Samsung online store.


Grover is based in Germany, and also covers Austria and the Netherlands with plans to expand into Spain and the US in the near future.
